It was a decent place, with the bang being located in my wallet. Pretty nice rooms, decent set up, not totally angry with my choice.
They run out of hot water at about ten in the morning and some guests have to take cold showers.
Nearby to center; internet connection
Nothing was good: unpleasant employee, not working air-condition (the wether was extreme hot!), shared bath and wc, dirty windows, bad small; they advertised this as hotel and hostel, but it was just a hostel
It was a great, cheap place to sleep while I attended Pitchfork Music Festival.
It was a peaceful atomsphere, the common room is really beautiful. I would come back again
A lamp on the table could be useful in the rooms and in the shared bathrooms could have a place to set your changing clothes near the showers
We appreciated the location was close to so many restaurants and nightlife.
The room got pretty hot (private four bed room) even with the window open for a breeze.
The staff attempted to make amends by offering us a bottle of champagne for their earlier gaff.
The one thing that pretty much ruined our stay was the fact that one of our rooms was given away. I understand that things happen, but this was especially irritating because we were there as a large wedding party and they gave away private room for my new wife and I. We ended up having to try and squeeze together on a bunk bed. Not exactly the romantic evening I had imagined when I booked the hostel.
Location. Close to Blue Line, to go to airport. Stop for hotel is Halstead. Walking distance to rail and things to do.
Toilet cubicle too small to sit, kitchen and communal facilities locked out at 6 am so couldn't access the breakfast we left in fridge before flight.
There is a Greek restaurant next to the hotel, which serves delicious foods for an Asian appetite.
The elder man at the front-desk is so arrogant to female residents. It took him more than 3 min to check-in my pre-booked reservation, and more than 2 min to explain to me the various regulations and limitations of the hostel room in a language that I simply could not understand. There is a bar downstairs of the hostel floors, which according to the worker in the hostel, is a private bar. But it is open in the late midnight, and the noises as well as the earthquake-like bass were so annoying that I could not fell asleep. During daytime afternoon, there is a group of paraders walking along the street again and again, druming and trumpeting, as if to make sure that I cannot get enough sleep both at night and at daytime.
The breakfast was ok.
No elevators, and the building is old and squeaky, very small, not enough showers, internet was slow, construction on building during stay
1. At breakfast, the man was very angry. 2. Doors to toilet broken. 3. There is a building on the second floor, so much dust.
The room is very clean and comfortable...although the bathroom was the shared facility, the cleanness was beyond my expectation...the hotel is located in the Greektown, pubic transit is accessible within walking distance...the hotel staffs were nice, friendly and helpful...all in all it was very good value for money...
The building has several stories and does not have a lift. So if you have a lot of bags, it could be quite some exercise taking them up to your room.
Very nice free breakfast
It was noisy, but on informing the desk they took care of it.
the location, friendly staff and breakfast!!
bathrooms were shared and needed more hot water and a fix on the door hardware.
The staff was kind enough to put out bagels and Gatorade because they knew some of us were running the Chicago Marathon in the morning!
